40 Days for Life prayer group outside of Planned Parenthood in Upland.

On Saturday, February 21st, we had the honor to join the 40 Days For Life Upland team at their prayer vigil, right in front of the Planned Parenthood in Upland! Nicole, the leader of this wonderful group got in contact with Sienna and invited the Stanton Team to share about Stanton SoCal as a guest speaker.

Sienna, our Executive Director, got to share with this group of prayer warriors, the life saving work that Stanton SoCal does in the High Desert. The city of Upland currently has no outstanding life center in Upland but the neighboring cities do which is what the groups refer to and it is why we were asked to share.

The group was so pleased to hear about what Stanton does, what we offer, and what we stand on - life.

In the High Desert, the Stanton Mobile operates right outside Planned Parenthood, offering free pregnancy tests, limited ultrasounds, and a number of resources to women facing unexpected pregnancies. We serve the community and we help women find hope by getting them connected to the right people but also by sharing the love of Christ and the gift of salvation. The group rejoicing upon hearing this and they shared such encouraging and sweet words with all of our team present.

Sienna was accompanied by Roxy, our Community Coordinator, and our best volunteers, Henna & Abby. All represented Stanton and were happy to stand with the group, holding signs, praying for and affirming life in front of all the passing cars.

One of the signs read “Pregnant? We Can Help” and that’s entirely true to us.

“We Can Help” is not just a statement it’s action. Serving the High Desert community, praying for the city of Upland, united all over Southern California, and beyond into all the world. We help in every sense , in every way we can. We stand for life, and we help.

What a blessing it is to be part of the “we”.
